Cognac "LOT 60" MAUXION

Nose: Caramel, mocha, coffee, mokatine, candy, chocolate... this nose is dark sweet and candy, playful yet mature. Then according to earthy notes, something of green garden herbs and wet wood. Simply beautiful.

Taste: Excellent body and strength. The high ABV of 62% might suggest this is too strong, but that is not the case at all. Strong, sure, but nothing the salivary glands can't handle. Again dark sweet and not fruity per se, but candied and caramelized. A fresh note of spearmint appears with the second sip. Surprisingly lively for such an old chap.

Amazing aftertaste! Long, spicy, sweet, warm… challenging. Excellent!
